An extremely rare find, this masterfully crafted antique diamond, ruby, and pearl pin/pendant dates back to the turn of the 20th century and evokes the airily romantic aesthetic of Edwardian design. The ethereal design features six vibrant old European cut diamonds, and its graceful lines are studded with natural Burma rubies and rare rose cut diamonds. The pin/pendants vine-like curls and leaves give the design a dreamy romance, while the exacting symmetry and geometric elements bring a chic edge.

A single teardrop shaped natural pearl dangles from the pin/pendants base, adding a sweet, romantic touch. Made by hand over 100 years ago in 18k gold, this utterly unique pin/pendant is a strikingly beautiful work of artistry, a wearable artifact of a past era. This pin/pendant features six old European cut diamonds and is amply adorned by rose cut diamonds. The old European cut diamonds total approximately 0.42ct, and the rose cuts total 0.50ct. The diamonds have a very substantial look, and they add gorgeous, eye catching sparkle! Graded G-I for color, the diamonds all face up beautifully white and match very nicely. For clarity, the diamonds are graded VS1-SI1. There are absolutely no inclusions visible to the naked eye, and even under 10x magnification it is difficult to find any inclusions in most of the diamonds. These are excellent quality diamonds in a pendant!

Overall, they are very bright and vibrant! All of the diamonds are hand cut, making each one charmingly unique. The diamonds are all completely natural earth mined and have not received any treatments or enhancements. The rubies are a rich and even red hue.

Burma rubies are the most prized rubies in the world by origin as that region is known to produce the highest quality material. These are very special heirloom stones! Synthetic gemstones were commonly used in fine jewelry at the time, so it is quite rare to find a piece like this with natural Burma rubies! The pearl has a beautiful white color, and an attractive teardrop shape. The pendant was crafted entirely by hand well over 100 years in the past, and the details are incredibly well preserved. It is truly a work of art, a testament to the mastery of its Edwardian era artisan.

The pendant is made from 18k yellow gold. The pendant has a pin back that can be detached to wear the piece as a pendant. The pendant measures 35.2mm across and 26.3mm from the top of the pendant to the bottom of the dangle.
