Welcome to Vintage Tools Melbourne. Vintage tool - plane #213. Up for sale is a gorgeous & scarce vintage BULLNOSE PLANE by Edward Preston of Birmingham England, an absolute design classic. Preston went out of business in the 1930s Great Depression & their tools are highly sought after by collectors today. The ruler in the photos is for measurements only, not for sale.

This plane is in authentic vintage condition, wear & tear consistent with age & use, the Preston blade & Rosewood wedge are marked with 2 x stripes from the factory fitting, decal on the nose, some light spots of rust & pitting, a small dent on the RH side, some wear to the mouth, some small chips off the back of the wedge, a gorgeous little bullnose rebate plane from a famous maker. All of our items are genuine vintage - that means they have been used, and have the normal wear and tear associated with a genuine vintage item.
