Antique Door Lockset w/Knobs, Plates, Lock, & Screws. Although there are 2 sets available, the list price is for 1 set. Set#1 is shown in the first 5 photos and Set#2 is shown the next 5.

Last photo shows both sets prior to cleaning. Cool, antique, Arts and Crafts style, interior door lockset salvaged from 1920's home in Northeastern PA. Each set is complete with all parts needed to install and use: 2 steel knobs, 2 stamped steel escutcheons, 1 steel mortise lock, 1 steel strike plate for the door jamb, 1 spindle with 2 setscrews to connect the knobs, and 12 installation screws to fasten the lock and plates to the door. Originally, all parts were brass and copper plated, but some of the plating wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed finish. The degree of plating varies from part to part--See photos to compare.

At the point of salvage, some parts were painted all parts were dirty and rusty (see last photo). Much time was spent carefully cleaning all parts, trying to preserve as much of the plating as possible. A ll parts are in excellent condition with only tiny nicks and light scratches that you would expect to find on old, used hardware.

There are no breaks, cracks, chips or gouges. Lock was opened, inspected, and we sprayed grease on and around all parts to facilitate their movement. The inside of the lock is fairly clean considering its age (see last photo).

Knobs : 2 1 /8 " diameter x 2". Escutcheons : 2 3/8 " x 7". Strike Plates : 1" x 3 3/8 ".
