This is a rug made from Japanese vintage cloth BORO. This is an old rug that was made by the Japanese people in the past by reusing old fabrics such as outer fabric of futon and stray clothes.

It was taken out of a very old house in Japan. 140 x 145 / 55"x57" deformation 2.5kg / 5.5lb It is thick enough to be placed on the floor. It looks like it has been used quite a bit.

Since it is soft, it can also be used as a sofa or bed cover. I think there are many overlapping parts of about 5 to 7 or 8 pieces.

There may be more than that, but please consider the weight. It's about the same thickness overall.

Since it has survived in the form of a rug, I would be happy if it could be preserved in this form and passed on to future generations. I think it's a wonderful item.
