Authentic Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace OLD

This listing features a vintage Navajo handcrafted squash blossom necklace made from sterling silver and gem grade turquoise. Weight - 170 Grams - 6 Ounces. Length From End to End - 27. Naja Measures - 3-1/8 tall by 2-3/8 wide. Blossom Measurements - The blossoms slightly graduate up in size from the Naja at 1-3/4 long by 7/8 wide too just under 1-3/4 long by 3/4 wide.

Top Center Naja Stone Measures - 3/4 tall by 1/2 wide. Pearls Measure - 5/16 in diameter. Stamped Sterling - NO, tested and verified. Signed by Artist - NO. Mid too Later-Mid Century, 1960s+.

Condition - Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stones and a naturally aged patina, ready to wear or display. This necklace was beautifully crafted by a skilled Navajo silversmith during the mid century. It features polished turquoise stones bursting with gorgeous colors and matrixes. The length is long at 27 and perfect for daily wear with the Naja being not overly large and bulky.

Eight stones adorn the Naja, all bezel set and bordered by classic twisted rope, while the two center stones rest over a thick bed of silver with curved silver works surrounding them. The 10 blossoms follow the same design of the Najas center stones with sturdy triple fluted bottoms. All of the stones are secure in their settings and in mint condition. They portray bright shades of blue with contrasting matrixes running throughout and look to be from the old Kingman Mine. The handmade pearls are in great condition and strung on a thick wire chain with a classic hook and eye clasp. This item has been left in its original state with a naturally aged dark patina. This Navajo crafted necklace is a fantastic example of Native American culture. It will last for years to come and be handed down for generations..... Cherish and enjoy this necklace for now..
