Beautiful Old Farmhouse Quilt in some variant of the Maple Leaf pattern, I believe this also include feed sacks prints, but judge for your self in pictures, hand quilted (see in pics), backside is yellow fabric. Condition is used / vintage. However, this quilt is still in fair to good shape structurally.

Here is the list of damage I noted; it is possible there is more, but I tried to point out the most of it: the following list can be seen in pics. At least two holes (front of quilt) close to each other on the seam line where batting is coming thru, At least one pink stain on front and more on back, threads sticking out in some areas, on back side there are areas where the thread seems to be knotting up, some areas seem to be thinning if you hold it up to the light you can see where the batting is thinning, if you feel the quilt you can tell the batting or cotton on the inside is kind of clumping due to age, some fading or discoloration on the bottom border area, on the bottom right hand side, there is some red/white gingham fabric where maybe the quilt was repaired or the designer miss calculated the size and had to add fabric. All of the worst damage is in photos. It does not have a smell. I don't believe it has ever been around smoke.

I personally would still use it on a bed especially for display or decor. I probably wouldn't use it for everyday use due to the antiquity of it. This would also make for a great photo prop or general farmhouse decor. It's really a stunning piece, despite any damage.

I found this quilt in a very old southern town in Central Alabama. I do not know the age on this one, but I would guess it's from 30's to 40's. Check out my other items for sale! I have quilts, quilt tops, and cheater tops too!
