The bow offered here is a Very Old Dark Purnambuco Shaft made in France in or around 1820. (Identified as an old French Shaft with a more recent 1920s German Frog by Linda West Cello Shop in Santa Barbara) The Frog is German Silver Mounted.

It is in excellent condition. When tight it is perfectly straight and draws a rich sound. It bounces the way you would expect an old French bow to bounce for thousands more.
