Wonderful Very Old, Antique German Steiff Bear 1950s, Vintage

  

WONDERFUL VERY OLD, ANTIQUE GERMAN STEIFF BEAR 1950S, VINTAGE. OLD ANTIQUE STEIFF BEAR 1950S VINTAGE.

Lovely older-looking Steiff from the c. Early 1950s with mohair fur, glass eyes, fully jointed. (38cm) to the top of her ears, squeaker no longer works.

Original nose, mouth and claw stitching. Her felt paw pads are original with some wear on her feet pads and one had shows the wood wool beneath but none is coming out! She no longer has a button or tags (these were often removed for safety reasons at that time before giving teddy to children) Overall she is good for her age, with some wear to her fur mostly on her chest, and around her muzzle. In some photos the sun came out which makes her fur look a little lighter.

We pride ourselves on top class customer care we aim to give the best possible service to our buyers. We also have our internationally known old teddy bear shop, and sell worldwide. We like to give our customers the choice of'as found' condition and'cleaned' as we know some customer prefer one or the other. Are an eclectic mix of collectables. Some vintage, most rare, some antique, often unique. This means that many are pre-used, and may have wear and/or signs of use commensurate with their age. We take pride in clear pictures and honest descriptions, including mentioning any damage or noteworthy "wear and tear" that we see. However, if you are unsure about any aspect of one of our items, we will be happy to answer questions or send extra pictures our auctions are long enough to facilitate this process.
